Job summary

United Cerebral Palsy Heartland is seeking Personal Assistants (Direct Care Providers) for FULL-TIME shifts in Overland and Florissant, MO. The schedule is set at 30 hours per week, with Thursday 9 AM–3 PM, Friday 9 AM–3 PM, Saturday 9 AM–3 PM, and Sunday 9 AM–9 PM.

You will provide physical assistance with daily tasks, help with personal hygiene, support ADLs, assist with transfers, and document care using Set-Works. Training is paid.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid Drivers' license and clean driving record.
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field.
• Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical assistance with daily tasks and personal hygiene.
• Assist with ADLs and transfers, including use of ceilings lifts and wheelchair repositioning.
• Follow medical orders and administer medications as directed.
• Shift documentation using Set-Works and general housekeeping.
• Engage with families and provide entertainment and community outings.
