Lifesteps in Plum, PA is hiring compassionate Direct Care Aides (Caregivers) to assist adults with disabilities in a residential home setting. You will support daily living activities, meals, grooming and transportation to appointments.

We welcome all applicants 18+ with a commitment to care. Training is provided, and full-time hours are available with daytime or extended shifts. Part-time options and flexible scheduling may also be offered.

Qualifications

• 18 yrs. or older
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances required

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with disabilities with activities of daily living and home care.
• Support daily activities such as dressing, meal prep, bathing, and appointments.
• Participate in community outings and activities.

Lifesteps, a local, human service agency that has been in business for over 100 years, is hiring compassionate and caring staff to work with adults who have disabilities in a residential home setting in Plum, PA.

Direct Care Aides (Caregivers)

assist special needs individuals with their activities of daily living and home care. The direct care aide provides assistance to adults with disabilities helping them with daily activities like dressing, meal preparation, bathing, and transport to doctor appointments.

Duties

can include:

• Cooking and serving meals
• Cleaning the house
• Shopping for groceries and supplies
• Personal care assistance like grooming or bathing
• Medication administration
• Community Outings and fun activities

Lifesteps offers steady, full-time hours! Available Shifts are: Daytime 7 am to 3 pm OR 7 am to 11 pm.

Part-time hours are also available with flexible scheduling to fit your needs. Great for additional income or a second job.

No experience necessary! Paid training provided!

Experienced home health aides, nurse’s aides, support assistants, and direct support professionals welcome!
