Lifesteps, a long-standing human service agency serving adults with disabilities, is hiring Direct Care Aides to work in a residential home in the Harmarville area of Pittsburgh, PA 15238. Full-time, evening or overnight shifts available, along with part-time options.

No experience required; paid training provided. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities such as dressing, meals, grooming, transportation to appointments, and medication assistance; duties also cover meal

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances required

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (dressing, bathing, grooming)
• Provide medication administration and monitoring as needed
• Assist with meals, transportation to appointments, and personal care
• Perform light housekeeping, cleaning, and shopping for supplies
• Coordinate and participate in community outings and activities

Lifesteps, a local, human service agency that has been in business for over 100 years, is hiring compassionate and caring staff to work with adults who have disabilities in a residential home setting in the Harmarville area of Pittsburgh, PA, 15238. This area is close to Allison Park and also Blawnox.

Direct Care Aides(Caregivers) assist special needs individuals with their activities of daily living and home care. The direct care aide provides assistance to adults with disabilities helping them with daily activities like dressing, meal preparation, bathing, and transport to doctor appointments.

Dutiescan include:

• Cooking and serving meals
• Cleaning the house
• Shopping for groceries and supplies
• Personal care assistance like grooming or bathing
• Medication administration
• Community Outings and fun activities

Lifesteps offers steady, full-time hours! Available Shifts are: Overnights 11 pm to 7 am OR Evening/Overnight Combo working 16 hour shifts 3 pm to 7 am.

Part-time hours are also available with flexible scheduling to fit your needs. Great for additional income or a second job.
