Job summary

Family Service Association's Home Assistance Program seeks caring individuals to provide help or cueing and supervision to members living at home in the New Bedford area.

Duties include personal care, light housekeeping, laundry, shopping, and possibly meal prep. Reliable transportation and strong communication are essential; CNA is not required if experienced. CORI and CPS background checks are required, with bi-lingual English/Portuguese candidates encouraged.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation.
• Desire to assist members with ADLs.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience in homecare or working with adults with medical/mental health diagnoses preferred.
• CNA license not required if experience.

Our Home Assistance Program is looking for caring, compassionate individuals to provide assistance or cueing and supervision to members living in their own home in the New Bedford area.

The program offers:

• Flexible shifts — perfect for parents or students!
• Daytime shifts only, 7 days a week.
• Weekends/holidays have a differential pay.
• Team approach working with an RN and Social Worker/Case Manager.
• Starting pay of $20 per visit! $21.50 on weekends and holidays!!
• Experience in the healthcare field.

Must Have:

Candidates must pass CORI and CPS (child protective services) background checks.
