Job summary

Caring For Allegheny Seniors LLC is seeking a compassionate Direct Care Associate to join our Penn Hills team. You will provide personalized in-home care to seniors, helping with ADLs, meals, mobility, and transportation support while following care plans.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in direct care, home health aide, or a related caregiving role preferred.
• Genuine compassion, patience, and empathy when working with elderly individuals.
• Ability to assist with physical tasks including lifting, transferring, and supporting clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist seniors with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to promote overall well-being.
• Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition and hydration.
• Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors.
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Accompany clients to appointments and assist with transportation needs as required.
• Follow individualized care plans and document care provided accurately.
