BrightNight | Dir / VP Project Finance | Full-time Remote

Position Description Summary:

Working with one of the industry’s leading finance, development, and origination teams in renewable power, the Vice President of Finance and Capital Markets will have the opportunity to lead capital markets transactions, including structuring, negotiating, and closing debt and equity financings, structured capital solutions, and mergers and acquisitions on a pipeline of over 35GWs in the US.

About the Team:

BrightNight's Finance Leadership team recently secured a $440 million investment from Goldman Sachs Asset Management and partnerships with GIP and the Canadian Pension Plan Investment Board.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead capital markets transactions, including the structuring, negotiation, and closing of debt and equity financing, structured capital financing, and M&A.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial risk management and optimization across the project development cycle.
  • Manage relationships with investors, lenders, and financial institutions, serving as the lead point of contact for project and corporate finance matters as needed.
  • Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and new financing products that could impact the financial success of projects.
  • Principal negotiations of transactions and their key documents.
  • Oversee and manage due diligence processes executed by junior team members.
