Location: Fairmount Homes, Ephrata, PA

Fairmount Homes is a five-star rated Continuing Care Retirement Community set on a scenic 50+ acre campus in rural Lancaster County. Rooted in Christ’s love and Mennonite values, our mission is to enrich the lives of those we serve every day through compassion, excellence, and community.

We are seeking a Director of Nursing Services (DON) to provide leadership, oversight, and vision for our healthcare team. This key leadership role is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of care, promoting resident dignity, and supporting a culture of teamwork and excellence.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead, organize, and oversee all nursing activities within our healthcare facility

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational standards of care

  • Guide and mentor nursing staff to foster teamwork, growth, and excellence

  • Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care

  • Oversee staffing, budget planning, and policy development

  • Support a culture that honors residents’ rights, dignity, and holistic well-being

Qualifications
  • Current RN license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in long-term care

  • Experience and/or education in gerontology strongly preferred

  • Current CPR certification

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
