Job summary

Kinder Growth Therapy seeks a part-time in-home clinician to provide DIRFloortime services for autistic children. Build trusting relationships through playful, emotionally attuned interactions and collect light session data on a phone or tablet.

Most sessions occur after school and on weekends; you’ll work within 30 minutes of your location and receive ongoing supervision from credentialed supervisors. Flexible hours, mileage reimbursement, and training support are provided.

• Reliable transportation is required.
• Ability to engage physically with children (e.g., playing on the floor).
• Working phone or tablet to collect session data.
• Able to pass Federal and State background checks.
• Valid form of ID.

Responsibilities

Requirements:

• Reliable transportation

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a related field (education, psychology, child development, etc.)

• Preferred: Bilingual (Spanish-English)

• Preferred: Experience with the DIRFloortime® model

Experience (1+ year required)

• Childcare (babysitting, daycare, preschool teacher, assistant teacher)

• Special education (educational settings, special needs)

• Developmental intervention (early intervention)

• Autism interventions (RBT/Behavioral technician, autism support specialist, ABA therapist, other DIRFloortime experience

Schedule

• We ask each employee and family to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week, with sessions typically lasting 2–3 hours per day.

• Most sessions take place after school (between 3–8 PM on weekdays) and anytime on weekends.
