The Director of Housekeeping is responsible for the overall operation of our Housekeeping Department in an inpatient behavioral health hospital setting.

The Horsham Clinic seeks a dynamic leader to coach and develop the housekeeping leadership team, ensure deep cleaning, adherence to standards, and exceptional public area presentation while supporting patient care and hospital operations.

Qualifications

Experience leading housekeeping in healthcare settings.
Proven ability to manage staffing and budgets.
Strong knowledge of cleaning standards and public areas.

Responsibilities

Review and ensure activities of housekeeping and laundry to provide daily, mid-week and checkout service to guest rooms and public areas.
Ensure property adheres to deep cleaning and company standards and procedures.
Inspect and evaluate physical condition on a regular basis.
Review inventory supplies and equipment as required.
Review staffing levels to deliver excellent service and meet operational needs.
Administer policies and disciplinary actions per standards with documentation.
Participate in interviewing and hiring of departmental managers and supervisors.
Maintain high quality through innovative strategies for cleanliness and presentation.
Lead, coach, teach, develop, and mentor housekeeping leadership team.

Responsibilities

The Horsham Clinic is on the lookout for a dynamic, compassionate, and flexible Director of Housekeeping

Review and ensure that all activities of the housekeeping and laundry departments are successfully providing daily, mid-week and check out service to resorts guest rooms and public areas.
Ensure that the property is adhering to deep cleaning
Ensure that property is adhering to the company’s standards and procedures for work of housekeeping staff
Inspects and evaluates physical condition on a regular basis.
Review departmental inventory supplies and equipment as required.
Review staffing levels to ensure that the department delivers excellent patient service, meet the operational needs for the resort and positively impact the financial performance.
Ensure that all departmental policies and procedures are administered fairly and consistently within the housekeeping department including any disciplinary (coaching and counseling) action and written documentation needed per the company’s standards.
Participate in interviewing and hiring of departmental managers and supervisors within the department.
Maintain the highest levels of quality by utilizing innovative strategies resulting in the highest levels of cleanliness and public area presentation.
