Job summary

Lam Research in Fremont, CA is seeking a Dextro C&F Engineer to develop and sustain core toolbox components enabling production engineering to focus on integration and app development.

You will work with executive leadership to report on capabilities, availability, and time-to-market, and you will lead cross-functional teams to execute the Dextro technology roadmap and strategy.

Responsibilities

• Design, lead, and manage Dextro C&F to bring key technology to a functional technology readiness level (5) at Lam.
• Work closely with Executive leadership to report on the state-of-the-art, current capabilities, availability, projected time-to-market and progress to plan on the Dextro technology development roadmap.
• Develop and manage an automated maintenance technology pathfinding roadmap, timelines, resource allocations, dependencies, and communicate status to executive stakeholders.
• Identify development opportunities & risks and mitigation strategies to ensure successful technology development conversion to a tangible Mechatronics “Toolbox”.
• Utilize technology management tools to track progress, manage costs, and ensure strategies are up to date.
• Organize, lead, and facilitate both direct reports and cross-functional teams to support roadmap requirements.
• Communicate effectively with executive leadership and functional partners.
• Present complex information clearly and concisely to support decision-making.
• Build trusted relationships to drive alignment and execution.
• Lead, coach and develop direct reports and matrixed team;

Dextro C&F Eng: You will develop and sustain core “toolbox” components that enable production engineering to focus on integration and app development. You will research advanced vision and machine learning techniques that can be applied to Dextro. You will engage with GPE for development of Lam specific components and controls.
