Job summary

Chartwells Higher Ed, a member of Compass Group USA, is seeking a Director of Dining Services at California Polytechnic State University in Vallejo, CA. You will lead day-to-day dining operations, manage a team of associates, and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring high-quality food offerings.

You will oversee P&L, budgeting, and rollout of new culinary programs, working closely with the Chef and management team to deliver exceptional campus dining experiences.

Qualifications

• BS in Hospitality or Culinary degree preferred.
• Three to five years of foodservice operation experience.
• High volume production and catering experience is essential.
• Previous experience managing a budget.

Job Summary

Working as a Director of Dining Services, you are responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations for a dining account. You will manage and lead a team of associates. You will be responsible for managing client relations, along with ensuring that the food offered to the customers is of superior quality. Additionally, you will be responsible for the following:
