The Agency Insights team is looking to hire a Director, I (STP), Advanced Analytics, supporting Comparion’s Agency Carrier Partnerships team. This individual is responsible for evaluating the economics of our 50+ carrier profit-sharing agreements and carrier incentive programs and building the analytical foundation that informs whether and how we pursue carrier incentives across both Comparion Insurance Agency (CIA) and Liberty Mutual Insurance Agency (LMIA). This individual will build economic models grounded in contract terms and production data, translate national, regional and state-level performance differences into clear strategic guidance, and make recommendations on whether specific carrier incentives (including contests, profit share agreements, short-term bonuses, among others) should be accepted or declined. This role also serves as the primary analytical partner to the Carrier Partnerships team for their ongoing day-to-day needs, and partners closely with the Channel Insights team's modeling work to ensure recommendations are grounded in a consistent, agency-wide view of policy and carrier value.
This individual must be comfortable exercising independent judgment in complex analysis and building structured economic models from contract inputs and production data and using them to form and defend a strategic point of view. This individual will collaborate with internal stakeholders and partners across departments, present findings, and utilize the power of data to help inform the future direction of carrier strategy. This individual is also highly effective at managing multiple workstreams at a time, including prioritizing efforts across multiple stakeholders and carrier relationships. This role will receive shared analyst support from the Channel Insights team as needed and is expected to provide direction and feedback on that shared work.
