Job summary

Metropolitan Behavioral Health is seeking a Business Office Director at hospital-based setting to oversee patient accounting, billing, admissions, and revenue cycle management. You will ensure efficient operation of the Business Office and supervise reception and admission coordinators.

The role requires full revenue cycle management experience and a Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, with Excel proficiency and healthcare billing knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum two years in a multi-faceted business office, preferably in a health-care setting, with medical billing knowledge and one year supervisory/management experience.
• Full revenue cycle management experience is required.
• Experience with computers and business software programs, particularly Excel.

The Business Office Director is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the Business Office, including accurate and timely patient accounting, admissions processing, accounts receivable management, and supervision of the reception desk and admission coordinators. Full revenue cycle management experience is required.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field. HFMA certification preferred.
• Experience: Minimum two years in a multi-faceted business office, preferably in a health‑care setting, with medical billing knowledge and one year supervisory/management experience. Full revenue cycle management experience required.
• Additional Requirements: Experience with computers and business software programs, particularly Excel.
