Qualifications

• Strong writing and analytical skills with the ability to write to order.
• Familiarity with diplomatic tradecraft and research standards.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential case studies and respond to stakeholder research requests.
• Research case studies using academic sources, interviews, and official archives to build a detailed chronology.
• Draft analytical case studies on diplomacy tradecraft and conform to guidelines.
• Maintain diplomatic expertise and stay informed of Department goals.
• Continuously develop and maintain professional contacts with government agencies as required.
• Maintain a record of Lessons Learned.
