Delavaud Casting Machine Operator

Operate metal mold casting machines to produce centrifugally cast pipe.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be physically able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to read and write legibly.
• Ability to add and subtract whole numbers.
• Satisfactory performance in classroom and practical evaluations.
• Acceptable vision and hearing levels to respond to visual and audible warnings, due to hazardous environment.
• Meet physical requirements for safe operation of mobile equipment, as determined by the safety department.

Essential Physical Functions:

• Standing continuously during operation.
• Walking, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, reaching, handling objects, and other physical activities as detailed.
• Use of fingers for controls, communication, and record-keeping.
• Visual and auditory acuity for safety and operational purposes.
• Lifting and carrying weights up to approximately 75 pounds.
