Qualifications

• Must be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing.
• Strong understanding of the mission of Catholic schools.
• Master’s degree in school administration; doctorate preferred.
• 5–7 years of leadership in Catholic schools.
• Familiarity with multi-cultural settings.
• Spanish language proficiency is helpful.
• Proven leadership ability and track record.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates communication between the diocesan school office and local schools.
• Assists schools in implementing guiding principles related to philosophy, goals and objectives of Catholic school education.
• Reviews and approves new or revised constitutions and by-laws of school advisory boards.
• Maintains school administrator personnel files – active and inactive.
• Coordinates and conducts annual catechetical leadership initiatives with relevant coordinators.
• Provides administrative and supervisory support to principals and pastors as needed.
• Regularly communicates with parish and school leaders about policies and needs.
