Job Details
  • High School diploma or GED, with 2 years of experience preferred in brand restaurants or chain hotels (Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt)
  • Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing)
  • Familiarity with ordering and inventory controls
  • High energy and professional demeanor
  • Ability to read and follow recipes with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Excellent people skills; able to give clear instructions with a positive attitude
  • Flexible schedule including mornings, nights, and weekends
Responsibilities
  • Work a 40-hour week, including weekends and evenings; hours beyond 40 require supervisor approval
  • Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and dairy products using various kitchen equipment
  • Complete opening and closing checklists
  • Follow daily prep lists and kitchen standards
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
  • Ensure proper plate presentation and garnish
  • Store, label, and rotate all products properly
  • Stock and maintain inventory levels
  • Properly close the kitchen at shift end
  • Attend employee meetings and contribute suggestions
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Work Environment

  • Extended periods of standing, sitting, walking, reaching, and bending
  • Professional appearance with required attire and hygiene standards
