Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a friendly Waitstaff to serve residents with exceptional dining experiences. You will take orders, explain menus, and support the daily meal service in a caring community setting.

No prior experience is required; on-the-job training is provided, and a supportive team environment helps you grow with advancement opportunities, while enjoying a balanced work-life schedule.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills are required.
• Effective verbal and written English skills are required.
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices is expected.

Responsibilities

• Set and clear tables, take residents’ dining orders, and provide the highest level of customer service.
• Review menus with residents and acquaint new residents with dining at Atria.
• Assist with the preparation, delivery, and cleanup of daily meals, banquets, and special events.
• Create a strong sense of teamwork with your colleagues and positive relationships with residents.
• Clean and sanitize carpet, tables, chairs, condiment containers, and equipment used in the dining room.
