Description
- Perform routine food service tasks to prepare hot and cold food and beverage items for service during meal periods.
- Assist in the preparation of salads, appetizers, desserts, and garnish.
- Operate the cash register and follow all cash handling procedures as assigned.
- Stock the beverage area, grab and go items, service ware, and condiments.
- Maintain, organize, and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, and storeroom by covering, labeling, and dating all items.
- Prepare the serving area with appropriate condiments and garnish needed for service.
- Prepare the dining room with all appropriate tableware and decoration for meal service.
- Transport food and supplies to serving areas, take and record food temperatures, serve using correct utensils and portion sizes, return food and supplies to kitchen, cover and store all food at the end of service period.
- Assist customers while in all dining/service areas.
- Set up and operate dish machine for cleaning dishes, trays, silverware.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas by following daily and weekly cleaning assignments.
- Must comply with all Westminster Canterbury HACCP policies and procedures.
- Must comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
- Participate in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.
- Other duties as may be assigned or needed by the Dining Services Leadership team.
