Job summary

Westminster Communities of Florida in Bradenton is hiring a Dining Services Tech I to assist with meal service, tray assembly and food delivery in a resident-focused environment.

You will perform table service, help with meal tickets, stocking, dishwashing, and light cleaning under supervision. The role requires English literacy, basic math, and safe food handling. Florida Safe Staff certification or completion within 90 days is needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent desirable.
• 3 to 6 months experience in a high-volume dining environment or residential clinical dining environment.
• Florida Safe Staff certification required or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform table service and excellent customer service based on established standards.
• Serve the resident’s meal according to meal tickets.
• Perform light cleaning and stocking duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Wash dishes, prepare items for the next meal period, and maintain sanitation logs.

• Pay or shift range: $15.75 USD to $17.50 USD

We are currently searching for a Dining Services Tech I to work at our Manor Neighborhood community. In this role, the Dining Services Tech I will perform a variety of duties including minor food assembly, tray assembly, food delivery and service, dish washing and cleaning as assigned by supervisors.
Essential Functions

• Perform table service and excellent customer based on established serving standards and guidelines.
• Perform table service in a friendly, caring, professional and timely manner.
• Serve the resident’s meal according to meal ticket.
• Perform light cleaning and stocking duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Other functions include washing dishes, cutting deserts and preparing items for the next scheduled meal period or day.
• Maintain temperature and sanitation logs as assigned by the supervisor.

Education and Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent desirable.
3 to 6 Months experience in a high volume dining environment or residential clinical dining environment.

Requirements
Ability to read, write and speak the English language and understand and follow written and oral directions.
Ability to perform basic math skills.
Basic knife handling skills.
Customer Service skill sets.
Full understanding of food service methods in a high volume full service dining environment.
Florida Safe Staff certification required or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of date of hire.
