Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is launching a Dining Services Manager in Training program designed to develop you to manage and oversee dining services within a healthcare setting.

The paid 16-week program includes hands-on and computer-based training and emphasizes a commitment to resident and customer experiences. Participants will learn operations, health and safety standards, inventory management, and staff scheduling while engaging with residents, staff, and guests to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in dining services or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must obtain FPM, FSM, LTC-FSM, and CDM/CFPP certifications during the development program.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing dining services operations, including meal preparation, service, and quality control.
• Learn to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
