Healthcare Services Group, Inc. offers a 16-week Dining Services Manager in Training program designed to prepare you to oversee dining operations in a healthcare setting with hands-on and computer-based training.

This paid program emphasizes customer service, health standards compliance, and progression into a supervisory role within staffing, inventory, and menu updates in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in dining services or hospitality preferred.
• Must obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM), Food Service Manager (FSM), Long-Term Care Food Service (LTC-FSM), and CDM,CFPP certifications during the development program.
• Valid drivers license.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing dining services operations, including meal preparation, service, and quality control.
• Learn to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.
