Job summary

Pennsylvania College of Technology seeks a Dining Service Leader to support campus dining operations across locations. You will train staff, uphold food safety, HACCP, and sanitation standards, and promote a positive dining experience for students, faculty, staff, and guests.

The role emphasizes leadership in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a Monday–Friday schedule across Keystone Dining Room and Capital Eatery, including evenings. Benefits and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate degree in Food & Hospitality or related discipline preferred.
• Safe Serve certification required within 6 months of employment.
• Driver license desired; college vehicle duties may apply.
• Minimum one year of foodservice experience with at least six months cooking.
• Supervisory experience in food service or related field required.
• Knowledge of inventory control, food production, and service operations.

Responsibilities

• Operations: support dining operations, staffing, production, service, and sanitation.
• Production: prepare and serve food following recipes and portioning guidelines.
• Staffing and Training: train and retrain employees; assist in hiring.
• Administration: communicate needs and complete tasks promptly.
• Customer Service: uphold service standards and handle concerns.
• Safety and Sanitation: ensure HACCP, PPE, and proper equipment use.
• Department and Campus: assist with events and campus initiatives.
