We provide quality care in a home-like environment, focusing on doing what’s right for the resident." - Sunrise Leader The Dining Services Coordinator I oversees dining and hospitality operations, including food preparation, dietary modifications, procurement, financial management, staffing, sanitation, record keeping, inventory, compliance, and resident communication to ensure high satisfaction levels.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Supporting our Mission, Principles of Service, and Core Values is essential. The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  1. Preparation & Food Service: Deliver high-quality food and service, adhere to menus, control portions, ensure dietary compliance, and support special events.
  2. Resident Focus: Collaborate with wellness and dietitian teams, participate in resident meetings, and seek feedback for menu improvement.
  3. Supplies & Risk Management: Manage inventory, ensure HACCP and health regulations compliance, and promote safety practices.
  4. Food Safety & Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness, record temperatures and sanitation logs, and partner with maintenance for equipment care.
  5. Financial Management: Manage budgets, review financial statements, and conduct inventories.
  6. Training & Leadership: Hire, train, coach, and evaluate team members, conduct meetings, and ensure compliance with regulations and training requirements.

Experience & Qualifications: Requires 2-3 years supervising kitchen/dining operations, volume cooking experience, ServSafe certification, knowledge of nutrition and modified diets, budgeting skills, organizational ability, and flexibility to work weekends and evenings.
