Job summary

Waneka Park Assisted Living is seeking a Dining Services Director to oversee all food service operations, menu planning, quality control, and nutrition for residents, while leading a dedicated dining team in a budget-conscious environment. This role requires a CDM or willingness to obtain, ServSafe certification, and at least two years of management experience in food service.

A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered plus comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily food preparation and meal service according to planned menus
• Supervise, train, and manage Dietary Aides and Cooks
• Recruit, onboard, and retain dining staff to minimize turnover
• Monitor residents' nutritional needs and physician-ordered diets
• Order food, supplies, and equipment; inspect deliveries for quality, pricing
• Ensure compliance with dietary regulations and safety standards
• Collaborate in patient care meetings, contributing nutritional insights
• Adapt menus to meet diverse dietary needs across care levels
• Implement systems to support regulatory compliance and high-quality outcomes
• Deliver excellent customer service and build relationships with residents

Pay Rate: $25-$30 DOE / Application Deadline: 8/31/2026

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification or willingness to obtain
• ServSafe Certification
• Minimum 2 years of relevant food service management experience
