Job Summary

The Director of Dining Services is the strategic leader of the community's food and beverage operation, ensuring resident and client satisfaction through high-quality service, meeting financial goals, and fostering a positive work environment. You will oversee departmental strategies and represent the company externally.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leading Food & Beverage Operations: Develop and implement strategies aligned with company and client goals, ensure team understanding of expectations, and maintain professionalism and resilience during stressful periods.
2. Business and Financial Management: Understand market dynamics, manage budgets, control costs, and analyze financial reports to improve performance.
3. Customer Service Excellence: Build relationships with residents and staff, monitor satisfaction, and introduce new offerings to exceed expectations.
4. Team Building & Management: Lead team meetings, create a positive environment, set goals, provide feedback, and mentor team members.

Preferred Qualifications

• B.S. in Food Services Management or related field, or A.A. plus 4 years related experience
• 5-7 years of foodservice management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge
• Strong knowledge of food trends, sanitation, and food cost control
• Previous P&L or contract management experience desirable
• Leadership and coaching skills, excellent communication, and proficiency in MS Office
• ServSafe Certification
