As a Flex Team employee, you will have the ability to work as a Dining Services Chef - Cook at multiple communities within the Indianapolis market and will have the accessibility to pick up shifts according to your availability. This position will have the flexibility to work up to 30 hours per week.

All Flex Team employees will have access to a very user-friendly mobile app! With a few clicks, you’ll be able to select the shift you want to work, click accept to confirm, and get paid within 48 hours of working the shift!

Dining Services Chef - Cook Responsibilities include:

• Prepares and serves appetizing food in accordance with planned menus, approved recipes, and scheduled mealtimes.
• Prepares and serves meals for assigned shifts.
• Clean after preparation and service; work area, pots and equipment.
• Ensures all leftovers are covered, labeled, dated and stored in the proper place.
• Interacts with residents, families, staff, and other visitors to the property in pleasant, respectful, and courteous.

Education and Experience:

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must possess Food Service Sanitation Certificate as per State/Local requirements.
• High Experience and/or knowledge of volume meal preparation and serving for large groups.
