Description

The United Presbyterian Home seeks a dependable andenthusiastic part-time Dining Services Associates to work in our Dining Services Department. The right person for this role will have a passion for working with residents who are 55+ years of age and have a hospitality mindset. Job duties may include an assortment of tasks including but not limited to:

• Meal service in Independent Living or Nursing Facility dining rooms
• Washing and putting away clean dishes, cookware and dinnerware
• Cleaning of the dining services facilities
• Delivering meals to resident rooms
• Help with special events

All positions include working every other weekend and availability to work holidays on a rotating basis. Hours for this part-time role will be from 10:30a-7:00p.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing individual who can work as a team!
• Self-starter with great communication skills
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and job roles
• Prior food service experience preferred, but not required.
• Understanding of orwillingness to learn about modified diets in healthcare.
• Understanding of or willingness to learn sanitation and food safety standards and follow them.
