Position: Dining Services Assistant

Under the direction of the Director of Dining Services, Assistant Director or Chef, the dining services assistant performs a variety of specialized or general functions in the Dining Services Department.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and serving meals for residents, either alone or as part of a team.
• Providing after-meal services, including returning trays and clearing tables.
• Cleaning food service items and work areas, and storing supplies properly.
• Preparing and assembling food for regular and modified diets, following safety and sanitation standards.
• Assisting with food preparation, inventory management, and general kitchen cleanliness.
