EverTrue is seeking a dedicated Dining Service Associate to support dining room operations and food service for residents. You will assist with meal prep, set-up, serving, and clean-up, while adhering to safety and infection control policies.

Prior dining experience and the ability to follow recipes and dietary instructions are preferred. Role involves standing, walking, and handling cleaning chemicals in a fast-paced environment, with attention to temperature control and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Previous dining service experience is preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow recipe instructions, diet orders, resident preference cards, and work assignments.
• Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks with frequent interruptions.
• Must be patient and tolerant with staff, residents, and family members.

Responsibilities

• Performs defined work routines using dining service utensils, supplies, and equipment.
• Assists with dining service set-up in dining rooms and at catered events, including beverages, salads, desserts, and other food items according to recipes and HACCP standards.
• Assists with dining room set up including setting tables and serving residents.
• Cleans and maintains dining service areas, washes dishes, and stores items properly.
• Receives and stores food and supplies.
• Follows safety procedures and reports hazards or incidents.
• Maintains HACCP logs and records of product usage and waste.
• Follows infection control procedures and proper hand hygiene.

Performs defined work routines using various dining service utensils, supplies, and equipment as assigned2. Assists with all aspects of dining service set-up in dining rooms and at catered events, including preparing beverages, salads, desserts, and other food items as instructed and in accordance with recipes; Ensures all foods are served at proper temperatures and on time3. Assists with dining room set up including setting tables, stocking buffets, and serving residents4. Assists with all aspects of clean-up to ensure all dining service areas are maintained in accordance with policies and standards by completing daily cleaning duties, bussing tables, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming, washing dishes, removing trash, stocking and storing items correctly, and keeping all dining service work areas clean5. Assists in receiving and storing food and supplies6. Follows all safety procedures and protocols as mandated by EverTrue policy, federal and state regulations, and standard food handling practices and reports all hazardous conditions, defective equipment, and accidents or incidents to the supervisor immediately7. Maintains all necessary documentation including checking and recording food temperatures in HACCP logs, recording product usage and waste amounts, and recording any other information needed8. Follows infection control procedures, including proper hand washing, food storage, food disposal, and wearing protective clothing and equipment when handling waste and cleaning agentsQualifications, Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesTo perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily1.
