Job summary

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln is seeking a Dining Service Associate for 12:30pm–9:00pm, Monday–Friday, in Lincoln, NE. You will perform kitchen duties, set up stations, and operate the dish machine while supporting multiple dining center tasks.

Description of Work

The Dining Associate is a key position within University Dining Services. As a Dining Service Associate, you will perform tasks in multiple areas/functions within the Dining Center, such as:

• Perform kitchen duties; including ingredient and food preparation, inventory, cooking and assembling recipes
• Set up and tear down stations
• Dish machine operations
• Build recipes based on established processes, procedures, guidelines, and recipes
• Monitor food quality, food presentation, and control food waste
• Assist within other areas as needed and other duties assigned

This position is considered essential and may have weekend or evening shifts.
