LifeSpire of Virginia is seeking a Dining Server to join our senior living community. You’ll help create a warm, respectful dining experience for residents and contribute to a reliable, tip-free hourly wage structure.

We offer part-time and full-time roles with benefits for full-time staff. The position emphasizes hospitality, community engagement, and professional teamwork in a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• No prior years of restaurant experience required.
• Friendly, dependable, patient, and able to help others.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Applicants must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set dining areas before meal service.
• Welcome residents and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Review menu options and take resident meal orders.
• Plate and serve meals according to established service standards.
• Deliver meals to resident homes within the community when needed.
• Clear and reset tables and maintain a clean, welcoming dining area.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines.
• Maintain proper personal hygiene and uniform standards.
• Communicate effectively with residents and team members.
• Work as part of a team to provide excellent dining service.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance and follow through on responsibilities.
