Job summary

Country Meadows is seeking a Dining Server in Harrisburg, PA to enhance our residents' dining experience. Part-time shifts are available with a starting pay of $14.25/hour, plus benefits and paid vacation.

You will engage with residents, maintain cleanliness, and support menu selections in a caring senior living community. Entry-level friendly with a positive attitude; ability to work with others, multi-task, and communicate in English is required.

Qualifications

• Entry-level, no prior experience required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage with residents by learning their preferences and providing friendly service.
• Keep dining areas clean and maintain sanitation.

Dining Server Responsibilities:

• Engage with residents by getting to know their preferences, special accommodations, personal interests and friendly exchanges.


• Keeps all dining areas clean/maintains cleanliness and sanitation.


• Assists residents with menu selector sheets.


• Properly cleans and sanitizes the dishes and silverware per company standards.


• Is responsible for floor maintenance in the dish room, kitchen and dining areas.


• Maintains a clean, organized work environment.

Dining Server Requirements:

• Entry-level, no prior experience required.


• A positive customer service attitude demonstrating respect, friendliness and willingness to serve others.


• Ability to work and collaborate well with others.


• Multi-tasking capabilities


• Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role.


• Have the ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job.
