Job summary

Country Meadows/Ecumenical is seeking a Cook in Harrisburg, PA. The role involves preparing and cooking meals for residents, following recipes, and maintaining food quality with attention to safety and sanitation.

The position runs full-time with a shift from 11am to 7pm on weekdays and 10am-6:30pm every other weekend. Benefits include health coverage, retirement plans, and paid time off for a satisfying work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, cooks and packages recipes using broilers, ovens and a variety of other kitchen equipment.
• Ensures all prep work is completed.
• Understands and complies consistently with our standard recipes, quality standards and kitchen rules.
• Ensures quality of food at all times.
• Keeps area clean and maintains sanitation.
• Cleans all equipment according to cleaning procedures and cleaning schedules.
• Documents and completes food and temperature records.
• Use of Point of Service technology to obtain meal orders from residents, as needed.
