Job summary

Colonial House in Rapid City, SD is seeking a Busser to maintain clean dining areas and support waitstaff and kitchen teams to deliver outstanding service. You will prep dining spaces, remove used items, and help keep the dining room and kitchen compliant with health and safety standards.

Ideal candidates should handle a fast-paced environment, lift heavy objects, and work well with others. This role emphasizes strong teamwork and willingness to support multiple duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with food service regulations preferred.
• Able to lift, carry, or pull heavy objects.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean dining areas before guests are seated.
• Remove dirty dishes and utensils from tables using trays.
• Clean tables, seating areas, and floors after guests leave.
• Communicate effectively with other bussers and hosts through a headset.
• Check restrooms every hour to ensure cleanliness and perform cleaning as needed.
• Maintain health and safety regulations within the dining room and kitchen.
• Collaborate with dining room and kitchen staff.
• Perform assigned side work.
• Assist with other duties as needed, demonstrating strong teamwork skills.
