Job summary

Bethesda Senior Living Communities is seeking a Dining Room Server (Host/Hostess) to oversee meal service for residents, families and guests. You will ensure prompt, courteous service and maintain dining room presentation across shifts.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in food production and service, and supervisory skills. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, HSA, and paid time off; opportunity to train and lead Health Services staff in a supportive senior

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: food production and service, sanitation, safety. Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee meal service for residents, families and guests with professional presentation.
• Assign sections/tables to staff and ensure timely service.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness and setup; reset tables and restrooms per policy.
• Take orders and ensure drinks/refills meet residents’ requests; provide excellent customer service.
• Manage reservations and prepare dining areas for private events as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents’ information and support residents’ rights.
