True Connection Communities in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor to oversee all aspects of dining room operations under the direction of the Executive Chef. Responsibilities include staff scheduling, training, setup, service, breakdown, cleanliness, equipment, and event provisioning in coordination with kitchen staff.

The role emphasizes customer-focused dining, adherence to safety standards, and budget awareness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years’ experience in fine dining.
• Dining Room Supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a customer focused attitude while managing food distribution and balancing serving responsibilities.
• Seating and greeting residents during meals and addressing concerns.
• Prepare schedules and assign tasks to wait staff; close duties.
• Ensure staff meet company standards for appearance and service.
• Train wait staff on procedures and menu education.
• Operate within budgeted guidelines and monitor costs.
• Promote resident engagement and monitor satisfaction.
• Maintain sanitation and service standards in dining room.
• Monitor food quality, temperatures, and portions; communicate with kitchen staff.
• Assist servers with table service as needed.
