Job summary

Rydal Park, a HumanGood community in Jenkintown, PA, is hiring a Full-time Dining Room Supervisor to join our team. You will supervise dining room team members, oversee setup, service, and cleaning, and ensure food safety and resident satisfaction.

The role includes scheduling, training, and coordinating with kitchen and wait staff, with a pay range of $19.00 to $22.00 per hour. Benefits include health plans, PTO, 401(k) matching, HSA, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Experience with modified textured diets and reading dietary slips.
• Minimum of 6 months of professional managerial experience in related field preferred or equivalent knowledge.
• ServSafe certification and/or Food Handlers Certification or enrollment in the certification course required.
• CDM (Certified Dietary Manager) Certification preferred.
• Previous experience in Healthcare, Senior Living background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise dining room team and service standards.
• Oversee setup, serving, cleanup and guest service.
• Ensure sanitation per standards and regulations.
• Create work schedules and assign daily tasks to wait staff.
• Manage budget, time resources, and inventory.
• Serve meals when needed.
• Lead meetings and training.
