Job summary

The Palace Group in Coral Gables, FL is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor to support the Dining Room Manager in planning, organizing, directing, staffing, leading, and inventory control for the dining room, bar, and events.

Responsibilities include supervising and training servers, managing breakfast, lunch and dinner service, maintaining safety and sanitation standards, and interacting with residents and staff to uphold our culture of Yes.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED required.
• At least 2 years' experience supervising dining room staff.
• English reading/writing proficiency; Spanish preferred.
• Basic math skills and safety knowledge.

To assist the Dining Room Manager in planning, organizing, directing, staffing, leading, controlling, coordinating the dining room, bar, training staff and inventory control.

• Supervise, train and prepare daily schedule for the waiters and waitresses. Manage breakfast, lunch and dinner service.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent (GED).
• At least two (2) years of experience in supervising dining room staff and food service.
• Ability to speak, read & write English with good comprehension. Spanish preferred.
• Basic math skills required.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of the restaurant service; health, sanitation and safety requirements.
