Job summary

MorningStar Kirkland is seeking a Part-Time Dining Room Server at Observatory Park. $19.50 per hour with Saturday, Sunday and Thursday shifts; additional days possible.

You will provide high-quality meal service and ensure a gracious environment, accurately relay orders, and deliver exceptional resident-focused service. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, assisting with functions, learning resident preferences, and supporting the kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Qualifications

• Demonstration of core values: Love, Kindness, Honesty, Goodness, Fairness, Respect.
• Experience in dietary department of a health care facility or restaurant preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Knowledge of ADA, state infection control, health department, and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Be present in dining room for full meal service.
• Assist special functions as scheduled.
• Maintain high cleanliness and sanitary environment at all times.
• Oversee bistro areas including food presentation, stock, beverages, and sanitation.
• Know the specials of the day and how they are prepared and presented.
• Learn residents' names and dietary needs; accommodate requests.

Dining Room Server - Observatory Park ~ PT

Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour

Schedule: Saturday, Sunday & Thursday. Successful candidate to be open to other days as well.

Job Summary: Provide service of high-quality meals and facilitation of a gracious environment. This entails accurate communication and order taking, properly relaying meal orders to back of the house staff. Offer exceptional customer service, as part of all interactions with our cherished residents.

Responsibilities

• Be present in dining room for full meal service.
• Assist special functions as scheduled.
• Maintain high cleanliness, hygiene, and a sanitary and infection free environment at all times.
• Oversight of bistro areas as directed – food presentation, cleanliness, stock supplies, beverages, make popcorn, etc.
• Know the specials of the day and how they are prepared and presented.
• Learn individual resident names, dietary needs, requests, likes and dislikes.
• Must serve hot food hot and cold food cold.
• As directed, participate in the Quality Assurance Committee.
• Sanitize tables and chairs, reset tables, and vacuum floor after each meal.
• Attend all trainings, orientation, and mandatory meetings.
