Job summary

Taylor Glen in Concord, NC is seeking a part-time server responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, and delivering meals in a timely, friendly manner in dining areas under the supervision of the Dining Room Manager.

The role involves serving residents and guests, handling special requests, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting kitchen and dining staff. Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests and present them with the menu.
• Informs guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any.
• Take food and beverage orders from residents/guests using POS system.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.
• Fill in for absent staff as needed.
• Enter special dietary requests on orders (e.g., no garlic, less spicy).
• Communicate with guests and assist with queries.
• Coordinate with bus person/kitchen staff for smooth operation and satisfaction.
• Serve food and beverages to guests as ordered.
• Observe guest satisfaction with food and service and respond to requests quickly.
• Maintain dining experience, replenish utensils and beverages, remove courses.
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards.
• Assist with stocking and restaurant par stock levels; support other areas as needed.
• Close the shift on the POS terminal.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor or manager.
