Job summary

NHC Place Sumner in Gallatin, TN is seeking a Dining Room Team Member to support daily dining services and ensure quality service. You will assist in receiving and storing supplies, maintain clean dishware, and help prepare and serve meals while adhering to food safety standards.

This on-site position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement within a family-oriented team. While healthcare food service experience is preferred, it is not required, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Healthcare food service experience preferred, not required.
• Willingness to follow proper food handling techniques and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assists in receiving and storing food and supplies to prevent waste and assure quality products.
• Responsible for scraping, stacking, washing, and sanitizing dishes, flatware, utensils, pots/pans, etc.
• Properly transports and stores dishes, flatware, utensils, etc. to meet meal prep schedules.
• Cleans and sanitizes the dish machine and dish room; maintains a clean, uncluttered work area.
