Job Description

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Dining Room Attendant | Full-Time | Arnie's Restaurant at the beautiful Barton Creek Country Club at Lakeside!

The Dining Room Attendant assists servers to ensure prompt, courteous service to all guests and members.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain regular attendance as per Omni standards, based on the resort's needs.
2. Maintain high standards of personal appearance, including proper attire, uniform, and name tag.
3. Provide outstanding, friendly, and professional service following proper steps of service.
4. Wipe down all service trays with sanitizer daily.
5. Bus tables and ensure cleanliness.
6. Stock supplies and maintain ice for side stations.
7. Handle product deliveries appropriately.
8. Transport prepared food from kitchen to floor promptly.
9. Cover and date expo food items; discard expired items.
10. Set tables with clean linens, china, silverware, and glassware.
11. Keep furniture and floors clean and arranged as specified.
12. Assist servers during operations, e.g., refilling drinks.
13. Remove extra settings after use.
14. Clean coffee makers, beverage machines, trays, dishware, silverware, and glassware.
15. Maintain menu and beverage knowledge.
16. Always wear gloves when handling food.
17. Cross-train in other restaurant positions.
18. Familiarize with the resort property.
19. Attend meetings and trainings.
20. Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

1. Current Texas Food Handlers and TABC certifications.
2. Clear, pleasant communication skills in English, verbally and in writing.
3. Adherence to compensation acknowledgment and tip reporting guidelines.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
5. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
2. Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place moderate-weight objects.

Working Environment:

1. Indoor hotel, dining, and kitchen settings, with occasional resort travel.
2. Exposure to chemicals, food, and beverages.
