Job summary

Sodexo at the University of Mary Washington is hiring a Dining Room Attendant. This full-time role offers afternoon/evening shifts with a pay range of $17 per hour. You will warmly welcome guests, clear and clean tables, and support servers to maintain a high level of service.

You’ll join a team-focused environment with opportunities for training and advancement. Prior experience is not required; 0-1 year is acceptable. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate loads.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers in the dining room; set tables with napkins, china and glassware, pour water, clear/clean tables, and serve when needed.
• Provide fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to dining guests.
• Remove dirty dishes, linen, glassware and flatware; transport items to designated area.
• Attend work and show up for scheduled shift on time with regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts.
