Job Description

Omni PGA Frisco Resort is seeking a motivated and passionate Dining Room Attendant (Busser) Part Time | Ryder Cup Grille to join our team. Omni Frisco PGA Resort will provide north Texas with 127,000 square feet of event space, 13 new food and beverage outlets, an extravagant spa and a full entertainment district. Featuring two championship 18-hole golf courses along with a third short course, we will provide incredible options for our guests and local community for dining, events, and entertainment.

Ryder Cup Grille features all day dining, honest fare, and friendly service. It is the place for an “after round” dose of Texas charm and comfort.

This team member will maintain the highest standards possible for the guest by ensuring quick, efficient, and professional completion of busser duties.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the Resort.
2. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper attire/uniform and name tag when working.
3. Provide outstanding service to members and guests in a friendly and professional manner, following proper steps of service.
4. Wipe down all service trays with fresh sanitizer water daily.
5. Bus tables.
6. Stock supplies and maintain full ice supply for side stations.
7. Put away product delivery items.
8. Transport prepared food from kitchen to floor in a timely manner.
9. Ensure expo food items are covered and dated. Discard expired items.
10. Set tables with clean, pressed linen, china, silver, and glassware.
11. Ensure furniture and floors are clean and arranged according to specifications.
12. Assist servers during operating hours to help meet business demands, i.e. refilling guest drinks.
13. Remove any extra settings.
14. Inspect and clean coffee maker/urn, cappuccino machine, beverage machines, trays, dishware, silverware, glassware.
15. Must maintain full familiarity with menus and knowledge of beverage offerings.
16. Always wear gloves when handling food.
17. Cross train among other positions within the restaurant.
18. Maintain knowledge of the resort property.
19. Attend department meetings and other required trainings.
20. Perform any other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.

Qualifications

1. Must have unexpired Food Handlers and TABC – or obtain upon hire.
2. Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate with guests, members, management and co-workers, both in person and by telephone.
3. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
4. Must be able to work flexible shift including nights, weekends, and holidays.
5. Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period or for an entire shift.
6. Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects of moderate weight without assistance.
7. Working in interior of hotel, dining room and restaurant kitchen, with occasional travel around resort property as needed.
8. Exposure to various cleaning chemicals.
9. Exposure to food items and beverages.
