Job summary

BAVARIAN INN RESTAURANT in Frankenmuth, MI is seeking a team member for a seasonal role (now through January). The job involves setting and cleaning tables, tidying dining areas, and assisting servers and guests during shifts with various duties.

You must be at least 16 years old, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and available on weekends and holidays. The position offers flexible scheduling and perks such as tuition reimbursement and referral incentives.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set and clean tables and tidy the lobby, beverage stations, and dining areas.
• Support servers with drink refills, clearing tables, and guest requests.
• Assist with setup for large parties and communicate which areas are ready to be seated to ensure timely turnover of tables.
• Dine-in tasks include cleaning menus between guests, cleaning highchairs and booster seats, rolling silverware sets, and other dining room efficiency tasks.

Seasonal (Now through January): 8-24 hours per week | Typical Shifts are 4-8 hours in length -Shift Examples: 11am-4pm; 4pm-9pm; 12pm-7pm; 3pm-Close | Wage: $13.75 per hour

Job Summary

Responsible for setting and cleaning tables plus tidying the lobby, beverage stations, and dining areas throughout the shift. Supports servers and service staff with drink refills, clearing tables, and guest requests. Assists with the setup of large parties and communicating which areas of the restaurant are ready to be seated in order to ensure timely turnover of tables. In addition to these tasks, dining room assistants clean menus between guests and return them to the host desk, clean highchairs and booster seats between each use, rolls silverware sets, and other tasks related to the efficiency of the dining room.

Basic Requirements

• 16+ years of age or older
• Ability to lift weights up to 50lbs + stand/walk for shift of 8+ hours.
• Must be available Saturdays, Sundays, & Holidays
• Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor during stressful and/or busy times.
