Job summary

Main Event Entertainment is seeking a Dining Host to warmly greet and seat guests, coordinate with servers and managers, and uphold safety and sanitation standards in a fast-paced dining room and bar area.

You will manage seating, assist with the waitlist, and help ensure a welcoming, efficient experience for every guest. Availability for days, nights, and weekends is required. Training and growth opportunities are available in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Prior food and beverage experience a plus but not required.
• Guest-focused mindset and teamwork are essential.
• Strong communication with management, team, and guests.
• Attention to safety, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ability to work days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests and maintain constant communication with servers, assistants, and managers.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards consistently.
• Manage the waitlist and seating flow for a seamless experience.
• Coordinate with servers to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Thank guests and welcome them back; perform opening/closing duties.

At Main Event, Dining Hosts guide Guests through their dining experience and support the overall experience of our dining room and bar area. As a Dining Host, you will greet and seat guests and provide constant communication with servers, server assistants, and managers. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)

• Welcome and greet all dining guests while gathering details about their visit (First impressions are everything!)

• Perform table management and keep thewaitlist updated

• Seat the Guests or hand them off to another host

• Communicate with Servers and Guests, using table touches, to ensure a seamless experiaence.

• Thanking our Guests for coming and welcoming them back

• Performing opening, mid-day, or closing duties

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prior food and beverage experience a plus but not required

• Guest-focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)

• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)

• Food Handlers Certification, as required

• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills

• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests

• Attention to detail and comfort in afast-paced environment
