Main Event is seeking a Dining Host to greet Guests, seat them, and collaborate with servers and managers to ensure an outstanding dining experience. You will uphold safety standards and maintain clear communication in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are guest-focused, enjoy teamwork, and can multitask while ensuring impeccable service from arrival to departure. Training and growth opportunities are available in a welcoming, fun culture.

At Main Event, Dining Hosts guide Guests through their dining experience and support the overall experience of our dining room and bar area. As a Dining Host, you will greet and seat guests and provide constant communication with servers, server assistants, and managers. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
• Welcome and greet all dining guests while gathering details about their visit (First impressions are everything!)
• Perform table management and keep thewaitlist updated
• Seat the Guests or hand them off to another host
• Communicate with Servers and Guests, using table touches, to ensure a seamless experience.
• Thanking our Guests for coming and welcoming them back
• Performing opening, mid-day, or closing duties

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prior food and beverage experience a plus but not required
• Guest-focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Food Handlers Certification, as required
• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Attention to detail and comfort in afast-paced environment
• Availability to workdays, nights and/or weekends
