Job summary

UCLA Housing & Hospitality Services (H&HS) is seeking a Dining Floor Supervisor to lead dining area teams and oversee meal service, ensuring top-notch guest service and adherence to food safety standards.

You will support Assist Food & Beverage managers with alcoholic beverage service, manage workflow during peak periods, and help maintain a welcoming, efficient dining environment for students, faculty, and visitors.

Qualifications

Position Summary

The Dining Floor Supervisor provides team leadership and supervision in Dining Area while overseeing the successful execution of meal service. The incumbent maintains a high level of customer service while adhering to all food handling and sanitation guidelines. The Dining Floor Supervisor also supports the Assist Food & Beverage managers with alcoholic beverage service.

• Working knowledge of safety and sanitation rules and procedures for food service facilities. (Required)
• Working knowledge of alcoholic beverages, including beer, wine, and spirits. (Preferred)
• Working knowledge of University and departmental policies and procedures related to time reporting, payroll, and personnel. (Preferred)

Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations

• Must possess, upon hire, and maintain a valid CA noncommercial Class C License in accordance with the California (CA) Department of Motor Vehicles. (Required)
• TIPS California Responsible Beverage Server (RBS) Certification (Preferred)
• Driver's License (Required)
