Job summary

Avista Senior Living in Mesa, AZ is seeking dedicated servers to join our community dining team. Under supervision, you will prepare and serve balanced meals to residents, with a focus on compassionate care for seniors.

You will help create an exceptional dining experience, build relationships with residents, and deliver service with a smile. The role emphasizes taking orders, maintaining a clean dining area, and supporting bussing and reset of tables, while adhering to all Avista policies.

Qualifications

• A positive team player mentality and passion for serving seniors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Food handler's permit, or the ability to obtain.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card, or the ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Take food orders, summarize, and write tickets accurately and promptly.
• Ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all residents, serving food and beverages with a smile.
• Maintain a clean dining and service area for all.
• Help with bussing tables and washing dishes at the end of food service (where applicable).
• Reset tables for the next meal service.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures of Avista Senior Living.
